Anyways... a site for stories told step by step. This is meant to make for a collaborative storytelling, where people add on to what's been written before. This idea came from a email exchange with a friend of mine, where we built upon what the other person said until we found a narrative forming from the coming together of two completely different trains of thought. While it may seem a bit disorganized and chaotic at times, the longer the story gets, the more coherent it gets. This order is formed when the authors start to see threads and patterns in the narrative that they start to follow. Every so often, someone will likely pop in to shift that order a bit and send the group of authors off into new directions. The story is lost if the authors can figure out in advance where the narrative is going. For various reasons, I do screen and monitor this site and all entries are ultimately subject to my revision or deletion based on my own editorial discretion. For the most part, I won't make any changes unless the entry is fake, a joke, or indecent (unless it fits the piece). Matte Elsbernd
