The City of Lost Children 1995
OH BOY!! If any of you have seen the film Delicatessan this is
the follow-up picture. I think I read that this film has the most
(computer) special effects of any European/Film. Its a sci-fi
menangerie. It throws in the romantic, storybook feel of the circus
sideshow with the haunting, shadowy world of film noir. A definite
vacation from the Hollywood cinema. I recommended this film more times
then any other film.
Four Rooms 1995
Okay, a lot of hype, not much in return. I lik Tim Roth (especially in
Little Odessa) and I really liked his chance at getting away from the
ganster roles. As for the four "scenes" I only liked the third one, with
Banderas and the devilish little kids. Maybe rent this on video tape, or
if you are a HUGE fan, but otherwise...pass.
