Fair Game

1995 - Rated R - 90 mins

Supermodel Cindy Crawford makes her debut in "Fair Game" - a two-dimensional thriller with non-stop action sequences and dialogue that's atrocious. William Baldwin co-stars as a cop who tries to defend Crawford, a lawyer, from a group of ex-KGB thugs bent on squashing her. We get to see the two of them run around for an hour an a half - most of the time wearing tight jeans and a tank-top - as people try to riddle them with bullets.

Going into the film I expected to see bad acting, bad dialogue, probably a terrible plot, and plenty of flesh. That's exactly what I got. But, in the end, it wasn't that bad. "Fair Game" turns out to be a watchable film - even if it doesn't amount to much.

I only wish that someone had written better dialogue for the film. Even if you know that your actors aren't going to be good, you can still hope to have decent lines for them to say.

Gripes aside, "Fair Game" is a decent picture.
